Simon Sawyer is a freelance fabricator and art technician based in East London. After a degree in Fine art (Scultpure) and a conversion to BLA in Landscape architecture, Simon worked for public artist Stephen Broadbent in the North West of England. It was here where honed his fabrication skills and digital communication skills producing concept, fabrication and manufacturing drawings. After a move to London in 2011 Simon worked for Damien Hirst’s London initially running a team of install technicians and eventually managing the studio by mid 2014.
Simon became freelance in summer of 2015. His knowledge and experience providing a good foundation to meet the varied nature of his clients requests.
